Dan has been working in kidmin since 1991 after a short career in software development. He was the Children’s Pastor at The Chapel, a multisite church in Chicagoland for 20 years before moving to The Compass Church in Naperville The Compass Church in 2015. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. His passions are creative teaching and curriculum development. Communicating unchanging biblical truth to our ever-changing kid culture is his focus. In his spare time he loves playing basketball, biking, hiking, and watching kids’ movies. He lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife Kimberly. They have been married for 28 years and have 3 grown children.
Kristi is a wife to Walter (for 30 years), and mom to Ryan (28), Wesley (25), and Becka (23). She loves to have fun, she loves that God has chosen this family for her, and she is thankful that God has placed her in ministry to serve children and families. She has been in Children's Ministry for 18 years and is currently serving as the Children's and Parenting Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas, Texas. Kristi exists to shepherd others to embrace their value and identity in Jesus Christ.
